Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in managing all HR functions within the company.
Qualifications:
- Education: Professional qualifications in Human Resource Management (HRM).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Personal Attributes: A proactive and results-driven individual with a "go-getter" attitude.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software is an advantage.
- Location Advantage: Candidates residing close to Colombo or Gampaha will be preferred.
- Preference: Male candidates are preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Support: Assist the HR Manager in the execution of all HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Recruitment & Selection: Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and assisting in candidate selection.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist in payroll processing by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by organizing events, managing employee communications, and supporting employee welfare activities.
- Training & Development: Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops, and help in the assessment of training needs for employees.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures, and assist in the preparation of HR reports and documentation.
- General Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and handling inquiries.
