About the Company:
Our client is an Australian-based business operations service provider, specialising paraplanning, accounting, auditing, administration. As we continue our expansion into the USA and other global markets, we seek a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to become part of our dynamic and growing team for our US market.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Senior Finance Executive, youll play a key role in supporting a US based client by:
- Deliver insightful financial reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, analyze trends, and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Spot and solve data issues: Identify inconsistencies or gaps in financial data and proactively address them.
- Optimize financial performance: Monitor cash flow, reduce costs, and enhance profitability through strategic analysis and process improvements.
- Ensure financial integrity: Assess risks, implement robust controls, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
- Drive operational scalability: Recommend and implement financial systems and tools that support growth and efficiency.
- Lead and oversee teams: Supervise the work of an overseas bookkeeping team to ensure quality and consistency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with accountants and other departments to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Champion innovation: Explore and apply AI-driven solutions to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Who Were Looking For:
Were seeking someone who is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a structured environment. Youll need:
- Strong background in financial strategy, forecasting, and analysis
- A degree or professional qualification in Accounting
- Over 4 years of experience in a similar role, with either Australian or US BPO experience required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and DEXT
- Proficiency in PowerBI
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, macros)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients or projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A sharp eye for detail and accuracy
- Initiative to improve processes and work independentl
