Job Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Senior Sales & Commercial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable business insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive sales performance by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a proactive, business-focused approach to identify growth opportunities, improve processes, and deliver commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders and act as a trusted business partner by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Deliver regular sales and commercial performance reporting, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel-based dashboards, and HubSpot dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Take ownership of key sales reporting processes, CRM administration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and business processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Produce and maintain business performance reports, scorecards, and commercial analysis.
- Support performance tracking, incentive reporting, and other ad-hoc analytical requests.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of commercial data and reporting.
- Manage the day-to-day administrative activities of the Sales Business Analyst team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical solutions that drive business performance and commercial growth.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Sales Analytics, or a similar analytical role, with experience partnering with commercial or sales teams to provide performance insights and support decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics), with the ability to analyse data and develop insightful reports and dashboards.
- A qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related discipline would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Flexibility to work both Sri Lanka (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and UK business hours, as required to support business needs.
