Legal Compliance Executive

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Compliance Executive to ensure adherence to corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal compliance standards. The role involves monitoring compliance activities, supporting audits, and maintaining proper regulatory documentation to safeguard the organization's legal and ethical standing.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the company complies with Sri Lankan corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Assist in conducting internal audits and risk management assessments.
• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and regulatory reports.
• Coordinate with legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
• Support the implementation of internal policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB), Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in legal compliance, regulatory affairs, audit, or corporate governance.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
