Job Overview

The Head of Channel Sales is responsible for developing and executing channel sales strategies, managing distributor and dealer networks, and driving revenue growth across sales channels. This role focuses on strengthening partner relationships, expanding market reach, and leading sales teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing and nurturing distributors and dealers within the local industry by evaluating regions, market and customer potential to promote the extensive range
  • Liaising with the dealer network to find new avenues, educate, penetrate and grow the market for the organization.
  • Formulating and executing market-based tactical plans to achieve set business deliverables.
  • Monitoring and evaluating competitor and market activities to support business decisions.
  • Territory/channel management that includes managing debtors, sales avenues, and on-boarding new partners.
  • Distributor Management that includes ensuring updated Agreements and Contracts.
  • Enriching the sales team and the business partners by identifying training needs and offering relevant support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration (a qualification in CIM will be an added advantage).
  • A minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar capacity with experience in developing and handling Dealers and distributive trade.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with sound knowledge of the local market.
  • Dynamic and result oriented.
  • Ability to effectively work with multiple teams within the organization.
  • Below 45 years or age.
