Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's technology operations team. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, deployment management, platform reliability, and middleware operations, with a strong emphasis on WSO2 environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration, ensuring smooth and reliable system operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage deployment, configuration, clustering, patching, and administration of WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Micro Integrator, and WSO2 Identity Server
• Support cloud-based deployments across AWS, Azure, on-premises Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
• Implement infrastructure automation, provisioning, and configuration management processes
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and capacity across environments
• Support release planning, deployment scheduling, rollback procedures, and production changes
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, middleware, deployment, and networking issues
• Ensure backup strategies, disaster recovery readiness, high availability, and security compliance
• Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, and security teams to enhance delivery pipelines
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Recommend and implement improvements for scalability, automation, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience for DevOps Engineer / 5+ years for Senior DevOps Engineer in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability roles
• Strong hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Micro Integrator, and WSO2 Identity Server
• Proven experience in deployment, configuration, clustering, tuning, and administration of WSO2 environments
• Strong expertise in public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration
• Experience in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting knowledge
• Good understanding of networking concepts including SSL, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
