Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the organization's day-to-day operations. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing strategic initiatives, improving organizational performance, and ensuring efficient execution across all business functions while supporting the organization's long-term vision and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of strategic and operational plans across departments.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure optimal efficiency, service delivery, and performance.
- Drive business process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure targets are met in alignment with institutional goals.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with the long-term vision.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships, including with members, students, regulatory bodies, & international
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and an MBA from a reputed university.
- Being a member of CA Sri Lanka or another professional body will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years' senior management experience, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership or operational role.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, operational management, and leading high-performance teams.
- Strong understanding of the educational and professional development landscape, both locally and globally.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering results
- Preferred age: Below 50 years.
