Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye examinations, assess visual conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide patients with professional guidance on maintaining good eye health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Assess patients' visual acuity and identify visual abnormalities.
• Diagnose common vision conditions, including refractive errors and color vision deficiencies.
• Prescribe appropriate corrective lenses based on patient requirements.
• Identify and assess eye defects and potential eye diseases.
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when further evaluation or treatment is required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical files.
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and promote overall eye health.
• Provide professional and patient-focused consultation and guidance.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the patient experience.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Optometry.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in refraction.
• Strong knowledge of vision assessment and basic eye care practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-service-oriented approach with a professional and empathetic attitude.
