Job Overview

The Retail Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for creating attractive and commercially effective product displays across retail outlets. The role will ensure that visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained while supporting sales, promotions, and overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute visual merchandising displays across retail outlets.
  • Ensure products are presented attractively and according to brand guidelines.
  • Create window displays, promotional displays, product arrangements, and in-store layouts.
  • Implement seasonal, promotional, and campaign-based visual merchandising concepts.
  • Monitor store layouts and recommend improvements to maximize product visibility and sales.
  • Ensure correct product placement, pricing, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with store teams to maintain consistent visual merchandising standards.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate displays and identify improvement areas.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and retail operations teams on campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor competitor displays and current retail visual merchandising trends.
  • Assist with planning and execution of new store openings, renovations, and promotional events.
  • Maintain visual merchandising guidelines and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Marketing, Retail Management, Design, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail operations.
  • Experience in fashion, lifestyle, FMCG, or other retail environments will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of retail displays, store layouts, product presentation, and branding.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of current retail and visual merchandising trends.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple store locations.
  • Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of design software will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel between retail outlets as required.
