Finance Manager

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure effective financial management. The role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and statutory financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan taxation regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and work with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
• Provide financial insights and reports to support management decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance or accounting, including 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance in Sri Lanka.
• Professional qualification or part qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
