Lead DevSecOps Engineer - AWS

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead DevSecOps practices, ensure secure CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation across cloud environments while maintaining high standards of security, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

-Cloud Infrastructure Management

· Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito, and EventBridge.

· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CDK to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.

· Monitor system performance, availability, and cost efficiency while applying best practices for cloud optimization.

-DevSecOps & Security

· Implement DevSecOps best practices, embedding security throughout the development lifecycle.

· Apply security controls and cloud security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data.

· Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory standards, and cloud security frameworks.

-CI/CD & Automation

· Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.

· Automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes for faster and more reliable software delivery.

· Integrate static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

-Technical Leadership

· Provide technical leadership and guidance to DevOps/engineering teams.

· Drive best practices in automation, security, and infrastructure management.

· Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues and perform root cause analysis.

Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in DevOps / DevSecOps or Cloud Engineering roles.

· Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, networking, and security architecture.

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK.

· Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

· Strong scripting skills using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

· Experience implementing cloud security practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

· AWS Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect).

· Experience with Healthcare Commercial Cloud (HCC) environments.

· Knowledge of cloud security policies and compliance standards.
