Audit Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements and supervise junior team members across a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, client-focused, and ready to take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute statutory and internal audit engagements in line with Sri Lanka Auditing Standards (SLAuS).
• Supervise and review the work of audit assistants and associates on the field.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, lead schedules, and draft audit reports.
• Identify audit findings, control weaknesses, and management letter points.
• Liaise directly with clients on audit queries, document requests, and issue resolution.
• Ensure audit assignments are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Assist the Audit Manager in engagement planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or finalist in ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA.
• 2 – 4 years of external audit experience in a professional services firm.
• Sound knowledge of SLAuS, SLFRS/LKAS, and Companies Act requirements.
• Experience supervising junior staff and managing client relationships.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
