Jobs Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Conveyancer to support their legal team in managing foundational conveyancing transactions. The selected candidate will handle various property-related legal processes under guided supervision while ensuring high service standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their expertise in conveyancing while working in a structured and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and progress foundational conveyancing case types including simple freehold and leasehold transactions.
  • Handle cases involving freehold properties with management company involvement and leasehold properties with restrictions.
  • Assist with company purchases (cash or mortgage), share of freehold transactions, transfers of equity, and buy-to-let transactions.
  • Conduct technical and legal assessments for assigned cases in line with established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders via email and telephone while maintaining service level standards.
  • Take ownership of assigned cases from allocation to completion while gradually building a manageable case portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates on the case management system.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient case progression.
  • Attend training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to monitor development and performance.

Requirements

  • A qualification in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Prior experience or exposure to conveyancing or property law will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of basic conveyancing processes and property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems is preferred.
