The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Wellness Therapist to join our team of healing practitioners. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse therapeutic modalities while helping guests achieve balance between body, mind, and spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive range of treatments including Ayurvedic therapies (Shirodhara, Abhayanga, herbal body scrubs)
• Deliver international massage styles: Balinese, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, and Shiatsu
• Conduct guest consultations and customize treatments based on individual needs
• Provide wellness guidance and aftercare recommendations
• Maintain exceptional service standards and professional treatment environment
• Ensure hygiene protocols and safety standards are followed

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Certified massage therapist with valid license
• Minimum 2 years experience in spa or wellness environment
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and treatment contraindications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina for multiple treatments daily
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialized training in Ayurvedic massage techniques
• Experience with Southeast Asian wellness modalities
• Additional certifications in yoga, meditation, or energy work
• Sinhala or Tamil language abilities
• Background in luxury hospitality or wellness retreats
