Job Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and lead the Finance & Planning function, overseeing financial strategy, planning, controls, investments, compliance, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Finance & Planning and provide strategic financial direction.
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, expenses, investments, and key KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial guidance on major investments and expenditure decisions.
• Oversee accounting, credit, investment, and financial operations.
• Monitor financial risks, actuarial assumptions, and reserve levels.
• Support business units in achieving strategic and financial objectives.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate/Fellow Member of a recognized professional accounting body.
• Experience as a CFO or Senior Finance Manager in a large organization.
• Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance and reinsurance finance.
• Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, modelling, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
