About the Role
Lead and expand the stationery and promotional products business by driving revenue growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives across retail and corporate channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for stationery, branded gift items, and promotional merchandise
- Identify new business opportunities across retail, distributors, corporate accounts, and institutional buyers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade and corporate decision-makers
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to support promotions and product launches
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for senior management
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in FMCG, retail, or stationery/promotional products
- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel across Sri Lanka for client visits and trade exhibitions
