Job Overview

Our client is seeking a **Product Manager – Affordability** to develop and manage consumer financing solutions that drive product adoption and sales. The role involves working with banks, finance companies, telcos, and retail partners to implement affordability programs such as instalment plans, BNPL, leasing, and trade-in initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage affordability solutions including credit card instalment plans, leasing, BNPL, and device trade-in or trade-up programs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with banks, finance companies, leasing providers, telcos, and retail partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, margins, and promotional structures with partners.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to launch and promote affordability programs across retail and online channels.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze consumer trends, and track KPIs such as offer adoption, sales contribution, and partner performance.
  • Ensure all affordability products comply with regulatory requirements and financial guidelines in Sri Lanka.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations to execute affordability initiatives effectively.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in telecom, mobile distribution, banking, fintech, retail, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer financing models such as instalments, leasing, or BNPL programs.
  • Experience working with banks, finance companies, or telecom partners in Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
