6840 - Quality Manager

Company Overview:

A Singapore-based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and integration of process heating systems and industrial thermal equipment. The company provides standard and custom-engineered heating solutions, including electric process heaters, bath heaters, heater skid packages, fired/hot oil heaters, and space heaters, serving industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical and refinery, offshore and marine, power generation, and aerospace. It operates a manufacturing facility in Ulu Tiram, Johor, supporting customers across international markets.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead & manage the QA/QC department.
• Develop, implement & maintain Quality Management Plan & Lead the development of
  QAQC related procedures.
• Responsible for document review and approval project documents, including Inspection
  and Test Plan, specifications, technical reports, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to
  quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project guidelines.
• Manage and resolve technical issues in QA/QC matters such as welding, NDT and
  inspection & testing.
• Manage and ensure QC inspection and testing activities in accordance complied with
  requirement of document, project procedures and relevant industrial codes/standards.
• Manage day to day nonconformities and ensure the correction and corrective action are
  closed appropriately.
• Prepare monthly quality report for those rejected or returned defect parts.
• Works with QA/QC team to ensure the quality control program designed to make sure
  continuous production of products consistent with established standards is implemented and
  being followed.
• Establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system (QMS).
• Plan and conduct ISO internal audits related to QMS, customer's requirements and quality
  improvement projects.
• Develop inspection method and conduct training for personnel needing the skill and
  knowledge to perform quality inspection.
• Work with PIC department on the assessment and qualification of suppliers and
  subcontractors.
• Lead in analysis of causes of quality problems and timely implementation of
  corrective/preventive action for improvement.
• Carry out analysis of QA reports and make appropriate recommendation or decision as
  deemed fit.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Meta) Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding)
• At least 8 years of working experience in quality assurance/inspection with steel fabrication
  pressure vessel/skid structure.
• Familiar with ASME code, ASME Sec VIII/ Sec IX /Sec V, ASTM & AWS Codes,
  WPS/PQR, NDT
• Experience and knowledge in manufacturing processes and product characteristics
  including foundry, fabrication, machining, welding, NDE, heat treatment, painting and
  coating activities
• Responsible, meticulous, and good documentation skill.
• AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 Valid will be an added advantage.
