Company Overview

A Malaysia-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, specializing in PCB production, design, industrialization, and repair services. Serving industries like connectivity, electrification, medical, industrial, located in Johor, it supports regional and international markets with advanced manufacturing solutions.

Job Scope:

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for direct and indirect materials within EMS environment
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and delivery performance
• Conduct price negotiation, cost analysis, and annual cost reduction initiatives
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to support NPI and mass production requirements
• Handle RFQ process, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
• Monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness) and drive corrective actions when necessary
• Support supply chain risk management and ensure continuity of supply
• Collaborate with global or regional procurement teams where applicable

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement within EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB/PCBA, mechanical parts, or related manufacturing materials
• Experience in supplier management, cost negotiation, and contract handling
• Able to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing processes is an advantage
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficient in English and able to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Mandarin speaking is an added advantage (if dealing with China suppliers)
