Job Description
- Conduct quality inspections and testing on plastic products to ensure they meet specified requirements and standards.
- Perform functional, durability, and performance tests on plastic components.
- Analyze material properties, such as strength, flexibility, and durability, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Assist in developing and reviewing quality standards, policies, and procedures for plastic production.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control tests and inspections.
- Prepare reports on quality audits, production defects, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and document non-conformities and deviations from quality standards.
- Evaluate and audit suppliers of raw materials and components for compliance with quality standards.
- Work with suppliers to resolve any quality issues related to plastic materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, FDA, or other safety and environmental requirements.
- Ensure that plastic products meet sustainability guidelines, including material recyclability and waste reduction standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
