Job Description
- Assist in the procurement of materials, goods, and services required for operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Help prepare purchase orders and manage the procurement cycle from initiation to delivery.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure availability of supplies without overstocking.
- Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, contracts, and vendor communications.
- Evaluate and analyze supplier performance, ensuring high quality and cost-efficiency.
- Assist in negotiating with suppliers for better pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Handle documentation and reporting related to procurement activities.
- Assist in resolving procurement-related issues and addressing any supply chain disruptions.
- Provide support in preparing budget reports and cost analysis for procurement activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
