Job description:
  • Team Leadership: Guide and motivate the purchasing team to achieve optimal performance and meet company objectives.
  • Supply Chain Support: Manage purchasing activities to address material shortages, ensuring prompt escalation to support customer needs.
  • KPI Achievement: Drive the team to meet corporate KPIs, including inventory days on hand (DOI), on-time delivery (OTD), and inventory excess (OIX).
  • Internal Metrics Monitoring: Oversee internal KPIs, such as unconfirmed POs, past-due ETAs, and aging items in receiving, quality, and production to enhance inventory flow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and handle additional duties as assigned by management.

Job requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications like CPSM or CIPS are advantageous.
  • 57 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in the electronic manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, BaaN, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset for process improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proactive approach to innovation and process enhancement.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards.
