Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager

Location: Senai, Johor Bahru

They are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to manage and oversee the quality of materials and components supplied by vendors to ensure that all products meet the companys stringent quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes to ensure incoming materials meet specified standards.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, including audits and performance evaluations, to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supplier quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to supplier quality issues.
• Work closely with the procurement, engineering, and production teams to align supplier quality initiatives with overall production goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO/TS 16949.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with auditing techniques and supplier evaluation processes.
