Job Description
The Test Equipment Engineering Manager will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of test equipment used in product validation and quality assurance. This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support testing processes.
- Manage and mentor a team of test equipment engineers.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of existing test equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets required standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Evaluate and optimize testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement improvements to enhance testing throughput and reduce cycle times.
- Ensure documentation for test procedures and equipment is up-to-date.
- Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to align testing strategies with product goals.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights on testing capabilities and requirements.
- Manage projects related to test equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure all testing processes and equipment comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability of test results.
- Provide technical support for test equipment issues and failures.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure high uptime and reliability of testing equipment.
Requirement:
- Above 7 years related experience in Equipment and Test Engineering with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Good communication skill
