6792 - Engineering Manager

Company Overview:

This company is a vertically integrated mechanical solutions provider specializing in metal stamping, metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, and tool and mold development. It operates a large manufacturing facility equipped with advanced technology and machinery.

Job Description:

• Lead engineering teams in process development, improvement, and manufacturing support.
• Drive NPI, DFM reviews, process validation, and smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
• Oversee sheet metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, finishing, and assembly.
• Improve productivity, yield, quality, and cost through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage tooling, fixtures, automation, equipment capability, and manufacturing improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process problem-solving activities.
• Develop engineering standards, documentation, and team technical capabilities.
  Collaborate with Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Program teams to achieve business objectives.
  

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Mechatronic /Industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in manufacturing (Preferably in metal
  stamping, metal fabrication)
• Strong experience in sheet metal fabrication, precision manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Experience in DFM, NPI, tooling/fixture development, and process improvement.
  Strong knowledge of manufacturing problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, PFMEA, etc.).
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
