Job Scope:

  • Lead procurement activities to optimize material costs, profitability, and operational results.
  • Define and implement purchasing strategies at the plant level.
  • Conduct price negotiations and manage contracts for medium to large volumes.
  • Develop alternative sourcing options to reduce inventory levels, lead times, and costs.
  • Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, development, and master data in cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure early supplier integration with internal departments and alignment of procurement procedures.
  • Support process improvements, organizational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in Supplier Quality Management initiatives and activities.
  • Enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance within the team.
  • Train and supervise subordinates to ensure safety awareness and proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain and monitor 5S practices through daily checks and continuous improvement actions.
  • Support cross-functional teams in factory-wide 5S and EHS initiatives and waste reduction efforts.
  • Promote a culture of EHS and 5S within the department and across the organization.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by superiors when required.

Requirement:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in procurement, warehouse or materials management.
  • Strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier development.
  • Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of EHS, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and coordination abilities.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
