About the job Technical Project Manager
• Manage the Projects being assigned accordance to Project Management framework, from Cisco and clientele specific requirement.
• Producing reports and dashboards regarding the status of the Projects in terms of milestones achievements, schedule, benefits, risks & issues.
• Managing all project data by establishing, maintaining and archiving of project records.
• Recording, tracking and communicating status of project deliverables and collecting and maintaining processes, metrics and lessons learned. From Project kick-off to Project Closure – end to end.
• Managing and communicating Project risks; and working with all parties to ensure that these risks and issues have been reflected in the overall project schedule and priorities. Provide specific recommendations for risk mitigation and facilitate solutions for the Project challenges.
• All your work needs to be carried out in IT industry profession manner, compliant with local laws and align with Cisco standards, including security and preventative measures.
• Your delivery will be in accordance with Cisco and customers’ agreed plans, change management processes, migration processes and work practices. A holistic view, and thorough understanding of Customer current and future network is basics.
• At all-time ensure compliance to Cisco operation process and standard: timecard, progress/status update, proper communications and work ethics – integrity, trust, respect, inclusion and diversity.
• Your work location could be Cisco or Cisco’s customer premises.
• You may be required to work in flexible schedule, occasional domestic and international travel as business required.
Qualifications:
• You have Bachler degree or equivalent plus 10 years+ relevant experience in Project Management.
• You are analytical and experienced in identifying and resolving the Project most complex issues
• You can manage the Clientele stakeholder relationships from CIO, Project Manager, Architect and Engineers.
• Proactive in communications and driving Customer & Cisco success as the first priority. You can communicate efficiently verbally, in presentation, writing and reporting through clear and concise documentation
• Self-motivated, and able to prioritize and manage tasks under high time pressure situation.
• You speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Specific requirement for this role:
o Project Management certification and experience: e.g. PMP, PRINCE 2 Certified,
o Strong negotiation skill, manage stakeholders’ proper expectations and reach agreements
o Strong communication skills - prepare stakeholders an appropriate business cases - potential risk, risk mitigation plan, and facilitate decision options.
o Experience in working on IT projects, collaboratively with prime contractors / subcontractors – to accomplish complex projects.
o Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and different respective immediate and longer-term priorities in parallel.
o Manage the Project according to Project governance standards, Scope, Timeline, budget and deliver the Project with Customer success and satisfaction, with the resources allocated to you.
o Proficient in common MS tools + project management software (e.g. MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
o Has IT/Networking/Cloud public cloud relevant implementation experience preferred, and security compliance project management experience.
o Understand Government procurement process
o Strong 3rd party vendor management and coordination skill.
