Job Title:  Project Owner - ERP Software

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Project Owner with almost 2-3 years of experience to oversee the development and implementation of our ERP software, tailored for a vehicle exporting and selling company. This role requires a proactive leader who can efficiently manage and coordinate a team of software developers, ensuring successful project execution within specified timelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for the ERP software, from planning to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives.

• Task Conversion: Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable software development tasks, ensuring they align with project goals and timelines.

• UI and Workflow Approval: Work closely with stakeholders to design and refine the user interface (UI) and workflow, obtaining necessary approvals before development begins.

• Project and Requirement Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project and requirement documentation, ensuring all project details, tasks, and updates are thoroughly recorded.

• Task Assignment: Utilize Jira to assign tasks to software developers, setting clear deadlines and priorities for each sprint or project phase.

• Timeline Management: Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and final deliverables.

• Communication: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, software developers, and other teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project.

• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.

• Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments.

• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Utilize strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Data Migration: Oversee the migration of existing data into the new ERP system, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration into the database.

• Version Control: Manage and track the software development process using Git, ensuring that all code is properly versioned and documented.

• CI/CD Integration: Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of software updates.

• Server and Database Management: Oversee and manage both testing and production environments, including cPanel and databases, ensuring their proper configuration, security, and performance.

• Deployment Management: Handle the deployment of software updates and patches to both testing and production servers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the company's quality standards and are aligned with the business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in managing ERP software projects.

• Strong knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools.

• Experience with Git for version control and managing code repositories.

• Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate software testing and deployment.

• Experience in managing remote teams, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Familiarity with cPanel, database management, and overseeing testing and production server environments.

• Demonstrated ability to gather and document requirements and convert them into actionable development tasks.

• Experience in designing and obtaining approval for user interfaces and workflows.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.

• Knowledge of the vehicle exporting and selling industry is a plus.
