Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Architect & Project Manager to join our team and take charge of overseeing residential construction and renovation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in architectural design, interior design, materials selection, and cost management, ensuring every aspect of the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative residential architectural designs compliant with local building codes and regulations.
  • Create detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to capture their vision, lifestyle needs, and design preferences.
  • Advise clients on material selection, including finishes, fixtures, tiles, faucets, cabinetry, lighting, and flooring.
  • Ensure materials are durable, cost effective, and align with the projects aesthetic and budget.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to guarantee timely delivery of materials.
  • Act as the primary liaison between contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the construction process from planning to final handover, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and alignment with design plans.
  • Prepare detailed budgets covering materials, labor, and contingency expenses, ensuring transparency with clients.
  • Monitor project expenses closely to prevent cost overruns.
  • Negotiate with contractors to maintain fair pricing and avoid unnecessary markups.
  • Vet and select contractors with a strong reputation for delivering high quality work.
  • Hold contractors accountable to timelines, quality expectations, and budgets.
  • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards.
  • Handle the process of obtaining necessary permits and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Additional certification in Interior Design or Construction Project Management is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in residential architecture, interior design, and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering residential projects on time and within budget.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and project management software.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and methods, including plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.
