Inside Salesperson

Overview:

The inside salesperson LVL 1 is an entry level position in the sales department. This position is led by the sales manager and reports to the sales supervisor.

Necessary Skills: 

Superior customer service and people skills Excellent product, construction and hardware knowledge Excellent data entry, mathematical and organizational skills Critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills Strong drive for constant improvement

Physical Requirement:

Able to lift 50lbs unassisted Able to stand, kneel and sit for extended periods of time Able to traverse a standard construction site Business attire as defined by company handbook

Responsibilities:

Support the objectives of the sales department Friendly, professional interaction with customers and staff Knowledge of available stocked and S.O. product/application Ensure a positive experience Clean uniform and well-groomed appearance

Duties:

Inquiries and transactions with existing customer base Promote MLBS, new products and special pricing Verifying order accuracy with confirmations Assist and educate customers on product selections/warranties Provide timely pricing, estimates and proposals Monitor fulfillment of open orders and sales literature Assist outside sales as directed by sales manager Manage and monitor returned product
