Overview: The Purchaser is a mid-level position within the Inventory Department. The Purchaser is assisted by the Retail and Yard Departments and reports directly to the Controller.

Able to work with computers and phone for extended periods of time

Able to work in the elements on occasion

Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted

Business Attire as defined by the Company Handbook

Responsibilities:

Support the Objectives of the Inventory Department

Friendly, Professional Interaction with Vendors and Staff

Clean Uniform and Well-Groomed Appearance

Provide Insight for Business Improvement and Efficiency

Duties:

Monitor Inventory Condition, Level and RO points

Manage Data Pricing and Description Accuracy

Place All Stock Orders and Manage Special Customer Orders

Confirm Invoicing and Approve for Payment

Build and Maintain Vendor Relationships

Assist Retail Manager with Pricing Strategy

Assist Marketing Coordinator with Advertising

Monitor Performance of Assistants
