Position Description - Yard LVL 1



Overview

Yard LVL 1 is an entry level position within the Yard Department and reports to the Yard Supervisor.



Necessary Skills

Good Customer Service and People Skills

Good Yard Skills Forklifts, Trucks, Load Binding etc Good Product and Construction Knowledge

Good Mathematical and Organizational Skills

Requirements

100% Completion of Yard Assistant Training

Able to lift 100lbs unassisted

Able to stand and kneel for extended periods of time

Able to climb ladders and work from heights

Able to work in the elements year-round

Must be available to work a variety of shifts based on business needs including but not

limited to closing and weekend shifts.

Customer Service Attire - Yard as defined by the Company Handbook

Responsibilities

Support the objectives of the Yard Department

Friendly, Professional Interaction with Customers and Staff

Clean Uniform and Well-Groomed Appearance

Duties

Assist Yard Customers, Perform Check-out Procedure

Assist C.S. Dept, Pull Orders for Delivery Fulfillment

Assist INV. Dept with Counts and Communicates Inventory Concerns

Maintain Yard Facility/Product Clean, Orderly and Neat

Perform Product Return, Rental and Cull Procedures

Performs Propane Fills and Tank Exchange Services
