Tax Accountant

Job Title: Tax Accountant Company: Midstates Executive Solutions Contract Details: Full time Pay: $68,000-$80,000 Experience: Public Accounting We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team at Midstates Executive Solutions. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in public accounting and a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns - Conduct tax research and provide guidance to clients on tax-related matters - Assist with tax planning and strategizing for clients - Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer any tax-related questions - Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations - Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws - Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects - Maintain organized and accurate tax records and documentation - Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain strong relationships with them Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting - Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented and highly organized - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information If you are a dedicated and experienced Tax Accountant looking to join a dynamic and growing company, we encourage you to apply for this position.
