Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering or Textile Engineering
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in cut‑to‑pack garment manufacturing operations
Knowledge Areas: Production planning, Industrial Engineering (IE) techniques, 5S, line balancing, productivity improvement and garment manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily workflow across Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Packing, executing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet shipment timelines. - Ensure steady flow of materials with inventory accuracy and reconciliation to prevent production delays. - Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to identify, track, and implement strategies to minimize rejection rates and wastages. - Apply Lean manufacturing principles and take initiatives to optimize floor layout and operator efficiency. - Identify training and development needs of supervisors and operators to improve performance and skill levels. - Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and promote a safe working environment. - Conduct operational audits and ensure compliance with established production standards and procedure.
