Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Finance Team led by our Financial Controller to deliver on the team calendar and priorities.
  • Manage the day-to-day AP and AR transactions, Accounts mailbox and undertake other various finance tasks.
  • Prepare reconciliations for banking, AP and AR, investigating and resolving variances.
  • Support the broader Project Team with accounts queries, finance procedures and the use of our finance software.
  • Build knowledge of our business and be an active part of the whole team.
  • Provide varied support to the Finance Controller and CFO.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role - experience within the Construction/Trade/Property Industry preferred but not essential.
  • Hands-on AP and AR processing experience along with a good understanding of financial processes and basic accounting.
  • Experience operating industry-based accounting systems/ERPs – experience in Jobpac or similar system highly regarded.
  • Intermediate computer skills, especially with Excel.
  • Well organised and able to close out tasks efficiently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff, suppliers and clients.
