About the job Purchasing Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The below tasks outline the primary responsibilities of the Purchasing officer. From time to time the purchasing officer will be required to assist and support other tasks within the In-life services team.

Follow up of order acceptance with suppliers ensuring all information is captured.

Follow up of weekly delivery confirmation reports for all outstanding orders to ensure all date changes are captured in Miles and communication is sent to the customer and relevant sales teams

Follow up on internal incidents to ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Manage email based requests, such as registration paperwork (forms to be completed in some states), third party fit out paperwork and suppliers,

Following up third party suppliers with invoices, issues with deliveries (transport to customer and vehicle is registered early) , address for delivery, payment requests, Interstate transport and delivery of vehicle.

Daily actioning of automated tasks reports.

Can focus and be disciplined to process high volumes of work against deadlines to ensure team efficiency
Ability to resolve issues under pressure and time of high workload or change

Knowledge & Experience


Experience in Fleet management
A minimum of 1 year experience working in a professional administration, and/or customer service environment
Experience working and communicating with automotive dealerships
Demonstratable experience in a document processing function
and/or working with a workload management tool.

Qualifications 

Any relevant or appropriate qualifications relating to advanced analytics.
