Your Role:

As a CCTV Operator Lead, you will:

• Oversee the 24/7 monitoring of all hotel CCTV cameras to identify security incidents, safety risks, and operational threats.
• Lead and coach a team of operators, providing performance management and guidance to ensure high-quality surveillance standards.
• Coordinate real-time responses with on-site security and hotel management during active incidents or emergencies.
• Manage the reporting lifecycle, including daily observation logs and detailed incident reports with accurate timestamps.
• Conduct regular system health checks to identify camera outages or blind spots and escalate technical faults to the maintenance team.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Minimum 3 years of experience in security operations, with  leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Proven expertise in operating enterprise-level CCTV and surveillance software within a hotel or high-traffic commercial environment.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and oral, for rapid incident reporting and team coordination.
• Strong leadership ability with a track record of coaching teams to meet strict security protocols and performance metrics.
• Absolute commitment to data privacy, confidentiality, and strict adherence to international security access control policies.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Prior experience supporting Australian or international hotel chains within an offshore or remote monitoring model.
• Advanced proficiency in preparing high-level analytical reports and data summaries for onshore executive teams.
• Knowledge of physical security risk assessment and the ability to identify subtle behavioral patterns or safety hazards.
• Technical familiarity with various CCTV hardware and the ability to troubleshoot basic software or connectivity issues.
• Demonstrated resilience and the ability to remain calm and decisive while leading a team through high-pressure emergency situations.
