Your Role
As an IT Operations Support Officer, you will:
- Answer support calls and provide remote technical assistance to clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and endpoint-related issues.
- Diagnose and support network connectivity, router, and switch-related concerns.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system updates.
- Remove malware and viruses while implementing antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
- Escalate and communicate complex issues to the appropriate engineering teams when necessary.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers to investigate and resolve advanced technical issues.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- 3–5 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk, Systems Administration, or a similar role.
- Experience providing Level 3 technical support in a managed services or enterprise IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory and Microsoft Windows environments.
- Experience supporting routers, switches, email filtering solutions, and network infrastructure.
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification or equivalent Microsoft administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across desktops, laptops, and network environments.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, cloud-based platforms, or Google Workspace environments.
- Familiarity with PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools.
- Experience working within Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management, organizational skills, and reliability.
