Your Role:

As a Software Developer in Test, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and backend applications.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in software testing and automation
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

Preferred skills/expertise
Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
