About the job Accounting Associate
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
Accounts Receivable –
• Payment Application; Apply customer payments accurately to open invoices
• Process payments received via ACH, wire, and check
• Identify and flag unapplied or incorrectly applied payments
• Maintain proper documentation for all AR transactions
Accounts Payable –
• Invoice Data Entry
• Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately
• Verify invoice details (vendor, amount, coding, approvals)
• Organize and maintain invoice documentation
• Escalate discrepancies or missing information promptly
Day to Day –
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Timely completion of assigned tasks
• Clear communication with the finance team
• Adherence to standard operating procedures
