Your Role:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:

• Provide initial technical analysis and meaningful first responses to customer inquiries within established SLAs and service standards.
• Troubleshoot and reproduce technical issues related to applications, products, integrations, and customer environments.
• Analyze application logs, configurations, system behavior, and technical data to identify potential causes and solutions.
• Guide customers through step-by-step troubleshooting, conduct screen-sharing sessions when required, and escalate unresolved issues with complete technical details.
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions while contributing to knowledge base and support documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements to products and support processes.
• Build and maintain knowledge of the company's products and services while continuously developing technical skills.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Hands-on experience with Docker and container images, with working knowledge of containerized environments.
• Strong command-line proficiency using Bash/Shell and/or PowerShell, including file and process inspection, environment and configuration handling, and text processing.
• Experience in Application Support, Technical Support, Software Support, or a related technical engineering role, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and reproduce technical issues in customer environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to provide clear technical support to customers and collaborate with internal teams.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Working knowledge of Kubernetes or Docker Compose.
• Experience with application log analysis and correlating events across systems.
• Familiarity with Git and source control platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
• Exposure to package managers such as pip, npm/yarn, Maven/Gradle, or NuGet.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting REST APIs using curl, Postman, or similar tools.
• Ability to write straightforward SQL queries for investigating data discrepancies and validating findings.
• Practical experience using AI coding and agent tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent to accelerate troubleshooting, reproduce issues, draft scripts, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Exposure to Application Security or DevSecOps, including SCA, SAST, container and secrets scanning, CVEs, CVSS, OWASP, or SBOMs.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as HTTP/S, DNS, proxies, TLS, certificate chains, firewalls, and egress allowlisting.
• Familiarity with SSO/SAML, CI/CD platforms, or log analytics tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or Datadog.
