JOB DESCRIPTION

Data Specialist

Purpose:

The Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring that incoming data from client schools is processed in an

accurate and timely manner, with the ultimate aim of providing a seamless, uninterrupted service to

customers. Working in collaboration with Customer Care agents, Implementation Specialists, Client

Growth and Client Success Managers, the Data Specialist assesses customer needs and ensures that

the set-up process produces an error-free, high-quality outcome. The Data Specialist is a proactive

communicator and team player, who contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency at

Edrolo.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Ensure consistently high standards of verbal and written communication with key stakeholders.

● Attention to detail to sort and process data; manipulate from one format to another and create

simple reports for clients.

● Process enrolment data using designated systems and tools, ensuring accuracy and

completeness of information.

● Verify the relevance of enrolment data to ensure it aligns with the required criteria; where

necessary, provide clear instructions in the form of Help Centre documentation to assist clients

with generating high-quality data.

● Work under the guidance and direction of the Head of Customer Care and other colleagues

across the Client Team department to provide clients with seamless, uninterrupted access to

Edrolo.

● Monitor the quality and frequency of incoming data integrations, and identify and report any

discrepancies or data quality issues that may arise through.

● Assist in the organization and maintenance of enrolment records and process documentation

● Perform ad hoc tasks as related to payment processing, content uploading, and data optimisation

projects or initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

● Has completed training in Excel and other data related certifications

● Proficient in efficiently cleansing, manipulating, processing, and sorting diverse datasets to

ensure accuracy and integrity

● Demonstrate ability to generate comprehensive reports and perform ad hoc data tasks

● Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheet (formulas & VLOOKUP)

● High attention to detail, time management, and organization skills

● Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
