Role and Responsibilities

· Payroll processing across Supagas, Aqua and Coregas within the NSC Australia structure.

  • Fortnightly, Monthly, Weekly payrolls for a diverse employee base.
  • Address all payroll queries and inquiries, including issues related to short payments, tax deductions, and Superannuation.
  • Monthly superannuation clearing house and reporting
  • Monthly payroll tax submission and annual payroll tax reconciliation
  • Work closely with the Finance Team and Human Resources Team to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
  • Setting up new employees on the Time and Attendance system.
  • Process timesheets, including data entry and data integrity checks before importing data from the time and attendance system.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of the payroll system and processes.
  • Interpret and understand payroll differences across different Australian states.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements and relevant modern awards.
  • Generate and support with monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reporting tasks.
  • Create adhoc reports and design reports using ichris or other tools.
  • Provide coverage for the Payroll Manager during their leave.
  • Perform general payroll administrative duties.
  • Handle sensitive payroll information with confidentiality and security.
  • Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as required.

· Reporting all personal injuries and incidents and assisting with investigations.

· Actively supporting and participate in safety and environmental initiatives.
