Role Purpose
The Talent Lead's role is to lead millennium's day to day recruitment activities, manage a team of talent consultants, and ensure compliance across recruitment processes is followed and maintained.
Primary Accountabilities
- Lead, coach, develop, and support a team of talent consultants.
- Establish clear performance expectations and monitor achievement against recruitment KPIs and service levels.
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused, and accountable team culture.
- Maintain compliance with recruitment policies and process requirements.
- Manage team capacity, workload allocation, and recruitment priorities.
- Manage a portfolio of vacancies and deliver full-cycle recruitment
- Conduct sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer management, and onboarding activities.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume and critical recruitment.
- Own and manage new site recruitment and critical timeline management.
- Ensure recruitment processes are consistently applied and aligned with organisational standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve recruitment workflows, systems, and candidate attraction strategies.
- Design and deliver training for recruiters and hiring managers on ATS, recruitment best practices, and standardised processes.
- Write and maintain SOP's on the talent system and talent processes.
- Ensure proper usage and compliance across the team, including system updates and enhancements.
- Provide weekly reports to the HR advisors for their regions on requested data and metrics.
- Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a high-volume environment.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, and supervising / managing high performing recruitment teams.
- Strong experience recruiting blue-collar and frontline roles is desirable. (Customer services, warehouse, cleaning for example.
- Ability to manage a team of 3 talent consultants with 80-100 roles open at any given time within the team.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities while balancing personal recruitment delivery and team leadership responsibilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with managers and internal employees.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence to manage up to management and operations teams.
- Experience using recruitment metrics and data to drive performance outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
- Experience writing job advertisements
- Experience Writing SOP's and implementing them
