Your Role
As an Industrial / Product Designer, you are responsible for:

  • Design and develop products across lighting, furniture, homewares and lifestyle categories.

  • Take products from initial sketches through to production-ready designs.

  • Produce 3D CAD models, technical drawings, renders and product specifications.

  • Work with merchandising and product teams so designs are commercially viable, manufacturable and on-strategy.

  • Develop materials, finishes, colour palettes and product detailing in line with brand direction.

  • Refine concepts based on stakeholder feedback, testing, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Research design trends, consumer insights, materials, and manufacturing techniques.

  • Run multiple product-development projects at once and keep documentation organised.

  • Present concepts and recommendations confidently in design reviews.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years designing consumer products end-to-end (concept through to production).

  • Ideally, homewares, lighting, furniture, or related consumer categories.

  • Nice to have: work with global retailers / wholesale brands; direct dealings with overseas manufacturers and suppliers; knowledge of sustainable materials.

  • Proven Industrial / Product Design experience.

  • Advanced SolidWorks (or equivalent professional 3D CAD).

  • Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and production methods.

  • Able to turn mood boards, trend reports, and commercial briefs into market-ready products.

  • Skilled in production-ready technical documentation and specifications.

  • Strong visualisation, sketching and problem-solving.

  • Excellent written and verbal English.

  • AI-assisted design workflows (Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, Magnific or similar).

  • Comfortable in remote, cross-functional, international teams.

  • Takes feedback well; articulates design decisions clearly.
