Pricing and Risk
POSITION TITLE Risk Officer (Maintainence)
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Manager – Pricing and Risk
Supervises None
POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is:
To manage, update and maintain the accuracy of business databases (mainly in Fleet
Maintenance and Tyres) which are critical to facilitate competitive quoting on all business
opportunities.
To provide support to the Pricing & Risk Manager and Analysts in preparation of data &
analysis of information and manage pricing requests during peak times.
Timely compeletion and action of pricing variations requests in collaborarion with
Remarketing, Sales and Business development.
This role is essential in assisting in the preparation of work for effective decision-making on the
group's risk management of pricing elements.
Complexity lies in the level of mechanical work experience and technical Excel knowledge required
to manipulate data. Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. Knowledge of vehicles and vehicle
types as well as vehicle accessories, sizes and costs is valuable to this role.

Research/Analysis
Research information on new model vehicles
Create maintenance and tyre budgets
Update the Lookup Tables for Rego, CTP, Stamp Duty, Dealer Discount, etc.
Reporting
Analyse and report on Budgeted vs Actual Costs
Projected Excess Kilometre Report
Sales Strategy Report
Day-to-day tasks
Calculate maintenance and tyre budgets on contract modifications
Pricing Variation Requests
PPSR Management
Vehicle Data Management – i.e. maintain the required active vehicle count throughout the
year
Evaluate quotes, e.g. Stop-start Leases, Mini Leases, Concessional Rego, etc.
Team Collaboration
Sale and Leaseback opportunities
RFQ/Tender
Assist the team in various ad-hoc tasks/projects

Knowledge &
Experience
Essential
Good knowledge and understanding of fleet maintenance
operations
Experience working in the motor vehicle/fleet management
industry – preferably as a Mechanic, Service Advisor, or in a
similar role
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
Desired
Evidence of successful track record managing large volumes of
data and manipulating data to explore and identify trends,
produce estimates and calculations.
Qualifications Qualification in Automative – e.g. Motor Vehicle Tradesperson's
Certificate (preferable but not compulsory)
