Key Responsibilities

The Sales Assistant supports the Account Management team by handling administrative tasks and reporting. The Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting with sales and marketing activities, managing ad hoc requests, and contributing to the overall success of the retail business. This role is crucial in ensuring that the sales processes run smoothly, enabling the Account Management team to focus on strategic tasks and customer engagement. The Sales Assistant helps to drive sales and improve efficiency through diligent support and effective management of daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage promotional preparation, submissions and monitor execution

  • Sales reporting and analysis

  • Ad spend reporting

  • Monitor operational performance

  • Assist in new brand onboarding tasks

  • Cursory website audits

  • Database management

  • Marketing requests including sample tracking

  • Organize, manage and follow-up on the execution of all necessary tasks

  • Other relevant tasks and projects as needed

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 3+ years in a Sales Assistant, Assistant Buyer, or Merchandising role

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Exceptional organization & follow-up ability

  • Extremely high sense of urgency

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture, and comfortable in an occasionally ambiguous/start-up environment

  • Basic retail math skills
