Your Role:

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will:

• Design and build automated, multi-branch customer journeys in HubSpot across the full lifecycle, including trial conversion, onboarding, engagement, winback, cart abandonment, and re-engagement.
• Configure behavioral triggers using data signals such as pages and topics viewed, access-denied hits, engagement decay, score movement, trial stage, and checkout drop-off.
• Build and maintain self-updating audience segments based on lifecycle stage, value tier, ICP fit, behavior, and engagement.
• Maintain lead scoring models and automated routing rules that pass qualified leads to Sales with relevant context such as source, score, pages viewed, and trial status.
• Set up and execute automated journey and lifecycle tests against control groups to measure the impact of journey structure, timing, sequencing, triggers, and offers.
• Analyze end-to-end customer journeys to identify drop-off points and opportunities for automation across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Report on journey and lifecycle performance, including conversion by stage, time to convert, and revenue attributed to automated journeys.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to ensure automated journeys support customer engagement, lead handover, and conversion.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Hands-on experience building and managing automated marketing journeys in HubSpot.
• Experience with behavioral triggers, workflow automation, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
• Experience maintaining lead scoring models and automated lead routing processes.
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle stages, conversion funnels, and marketing automation principles.
• Experience analyzing journey performance using conversion, engagement, and revenue metrics.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience designing multi-branch workflows across trial-to-paid, onboarding, winback, cart recovery, and at-risk customer journeys.
• Experience setting up A/B tests or controlled experiments for automated customer journeys.
• Knowledge of CRM data, ICP segmentation, value tiers, and behavioral engagement signals.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify automation opportunities and customer journey drop-off points.
