Your Role:

As a Optical Assistant, you will:

• Help customers choose frame styles, lens options, and navigate the website.
• Read, verify, and explain vision prescriptions before processing orders.
• Answer customer questions about orders, shipping updates, and delivery delays.
• Handle customer complaints, exchanges, refunds, and order cancellations.
• Log all customer interactions and case details in Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Share customer feedback with product and marketing teams to improve services.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Ability to read and verify vision prescriptions and lens specifications.
• Experience using Salesforce Service Cloud or similar ticketing tools.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for customer support.
• Problem-solving skills to handle customer issues and complaints calmly.
• Commitment to keeping customer personal and financial data secure.

Preferred skills/expertise:

• Prior work experience in a retail optical shop, optometry clinic, or eyewear brand.
• Strong attention to detail when checking prescription numbers (Sphere, Cylinder, Axis, PD).
• Experience with online store ordering, returns, and shipping tracking systems.
• Ability to speak and write in more than one language
