Job Title: Head of Talent Acquisition
Job Description: The Head of Talent Acquisition at our client is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract top talent. This role involves building a strong employer brand, optimizing recruitment processes, and leading the recruitment team to meet the organization's talent needs. The position requires close collaboration with senior leadership to align recruitment activities with business objectives and workforce planning.
Key Responsibility:
1. Design and implement the talent acquisition strategy to meet the hiring needs of the organization, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
2. Develop strategic sourcing and recruitment methods to attract diverse, high-caliber talent across different functions and levels within the organization, from entry-level to leadership roles.
3. Create a talent pipeline for current and future business needs by identifying key talent pools and building relationships with universities, industry groups, and recruitment agencies.
4. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisitions to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
5. Implement recruitment best practices, focusing on reducing time-to-hire, improving candidate experience, and ensuring quality hires.
6. Drive recruitment automation and technology initiatives, optimizing the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other digital tools to enhance recruitment efficiency and data analytics.
7. Lead, mentor, and develop the talent acquisition team, ensuring they have the skills and tools necessary to meet recruitment goals and contribute to the organization’s success.
8. Train hiring managers on interviewing techniques, capturing feedback, and running panels and moderations for senior-level hiring.
9. Develop and promote Putzmeister India’s employer brand to position the company as a top employer in the industry.
10. Collaborate with senior leaders and department heads to understand hiring needs, job specifications, and candidate profiles, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
11. Champion diversity and inclusion within the recruitment process, ensuring that hiring practices are fair and inclusive to all candidates.
12. Collaborate with the HR and business leadership teams on workforce planning, ensuring recruitment activities are aligned with business forecasts and workforce requirements.
13. The individual will also be responsible for building a strong EVB for candidates across lateral and campus segment.
14. The focus will also be on building on campus pipeline across DET/ GET/ MT and nurturing long term campus relationships via internships, live projects, case study competitions, leadership talks etc.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of recruitment tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and HRMS. Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including talent mapping, sourcing techniques, and workforce planning.
Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
Attitude: Strategic, innovative, and results-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Qualifications: 5-8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in sales, after-sales service, production, engineering roles in heavy equipment manufacturing/automobile sector is preferred.
